lwb, btw, my BFF's mom, the one who went throught this 20+ years ago and now has been married 35 years, gave me Love Must be Tough. She caught wind of my sitch and invited me over for lunch. She has been a mother figure since I became friends with her daughter when I was 9 (20 years ago). I met her when my parents were splitting. Anyway, that is the one book she read back then, and she gave it to me. She packed her H's stuff, put a picture of the kids and put his stuff out on the porch. She had five kids between 1 and 8. She got a job. Her H was madly in love with his OW. He wanted to marry her. He was gone two months and has been home ever since. Now, she says she took him back too soon, should have made him sweat it out a bit because once he was back and comfortable, he stopped working on being better. She said it took 2 years before she was comfortable and stopped obsessing about the A.
Anyway, she tough loved, went dark, and GAL.
