As you can see, things are still out of wack around here but I am doing just fine despite. I think through all of this I have learned to become quite the P.I. that's for sure!
Today I spent the day going over my credit report with a fine tooth comb, went to the police station and went onto some fraud websites to get info on how to deal with possible identity theft.
I did report the address fraud with Experian, Equifax and Transunion. I did other financial work, too, like changing debit codes, etc. It has been a royal pain but it's almost over. What I have learned is that identity theft is so prevelant and pretty scary. Now I know what to do to monitor stuff, etc..and I have some great tidbits on how to avoid it, also. For example, only put your initials on your checks so if the checks are stolen the thief will have a difficult time figuring out how to sign your name. And, when you get a new credit card, in the signature line of the card write Photo Id Required..
Thought that was interesting..
Went to son's game tonight. XH was there with his mom. It was nice to see her although she was nuts when we separated..She is a fiesty one who doesn't mind slinging a few choice four letter words around..Like her son.
XH was so nice to New Guy it was nauseating. I didn't say two words to him but was very hice to his mom. I managed just to be indifferent..Like he was invisible.
I spent all day concentrating on how he may have ruined my credit and then i have to see him. It is so bizarre it isn't funny..But I am getting used to bizarre which is even more bizarre..
Looking forward to a nice quiet weekend with New Guy..Maybe going to a nice B and B in a quaint town an hour away..Just hinking about it makes me ((sigh)))
