I really heard the same things from my wife that you articulated, however, when I made decsions, she always offered my 48 suggestions for improvment, or told me flat out why I was wrong. She said she did not want to make decisions, but fought ery one I made. I told her that if you want me to lead, let me. it resulted in overwhelming anger. Sometimes you can't win.
