Ya know, as I keep writing all I can think is "how stupid am I"? 18 yrs of no reall genuine discussions. Great intuition about most everything in life, just not this one.

I know what you mean. But most of us don't examine our Rs that closely until there's a crisis, but then we learn. Everyone's intuition has a blind spot; maybe yours will change now.
