I'm with you, CVA, "Tell Me You Love Me" was starting to bring me down, so I've not watched the last few episodes. Football's on anyway.

I'm happy to hear you're still hanging with the friends, even if W isn't. What do you mean by you said, "I'm not responsible for that?" Did you mean she chooses what she's going to do (in general) or you haven't put pressure on her to back off?

I was best man at their wedding and am close to both of them. They're both really smart (Ph.D's, she teaches at American, he's an analyst for a 3 letter gov agency) and I think she's always felt a little intellectually intimidated by them -- for absolutely no reason, I might add. Anyway, I think she sees them as MY friends. J wouldn't come out. Said he's pretty ticked at her for what she's done and didn't feel like pretending to be nice. Anyway, what I meant by the above is that we're not a couple. I don't answer or try to make excuses for her mistakes/feelings/whatever. She's made it quite clear over the last few months that's the way she wants it. So . . .

This is fascinating, how did you heat up the brazil nut? Did you use dry twigs/tinder to start a fire with it? That's effing cool.

Actually, when I get to my target weight, I'm considering rewarding myself with a vintage shirt. Sigh, too bad your friend's in Cali.
