I'm happy to hear you're still hanging with the friends, even if W isn't. What do you mean by you said, "I'm not responsible for that?" Did you mean she chooses what she's going to do (in general) or you haven't put pressure on her to back off?
It's always weird to see the WAS be down and cut off friends. Aren't they supposed to be happy and at peace with their decisions? I guess not.
Okay, keep up the vintage search. Brazil nuts, when heated, act like a little coal: we heated one and it actually started the entire fire. Amazing.
Other things I learned from these folks who work on TV shows (and have to deal with costumes, I guess): flour on grease stains sucks enough oil out that when you wash the garment, the oil's totally gone, and white wine takes out red wine stains. Oh, and dumping pumpkin innards on a bonfire makes a lovely, subtle potpourri smell.
CVA, writer claims Madmen is the best TV show ever written, and the Wire is the best cop show ever. Said that show about the 20-, 30-, 40-, 50-, and 60-year-old couples (with "unsimiluated" sex) is the most depressing show out there, despite all the nudity and getting it on. So there you go.
