Any friends of my H that I became pals with their W's during the "good" parts of my M have just shut me off completely. Sort of the reverse of your sitch. Kind of like they got my H is the separation...Very weird and immature IMO. None of them will talk to me anymore. None answered my calls or emails. I got the msg loud & clear. It hurt but I have gotten over it. Guess they just weren't true pals anyway...or not capable of being mature enough to maintain both friendships.
Ironically, my gal pals have reacted similarly to the sitch. Flat out told their H's that they got me in the separation. Didn't hurt as much since my H was such a shut in they rarely saw him or got to know him anyway.
I am sure others on this site can commiserate on both sides of this issue. I assume its something I will have to deal with for the rest of my life. Always bumping into a former friend...a Pre-D friend as I am going to start to call them.
