Without warning, wife just left to take #2 & #3 to see a puppy. We have one dog already. The one we have is very annoying, barking all the time, scratching up doors, and puking on the carpet at (seemingly) every opportunity.
I had no idea she was in the market for a dog. We have never discussed it. She just loaded the kids, smiled at me, and left.
OK, so how do I handle this one? On the one hand, I could just agree to go along with it. Reduce conflict. On the other hand, I really don't want one dog in my house. I really, really don't want two dogs in my house.
This is very confusing, as it strikes me that a person seeking a divorce should not be out searching for a dog. They should be in the process of simplifying their life, not complicating it.
