yes. It is quiet in the house now. I'm not usually up this early especially on a weekend. But with this cold, the medicine stops working at about 5 AM, and then I'm all stuffy and runny and can't sleep.
I'm leaving Monday morning for Colorado and will be at a conference there until Thursday. Not sure how much PC time I will have during that time. Maybe the hotel has a computer. But I don't have a laptop, so I may not be able to get on at all.
I'm sorry your cold is still bothering you. They really can drag on. I know I was having to sleep a bit upright when I had mine!!!!
It is so cold here. We have had frost for the last 3 nights. Probably just as well with this blue tongue disease that they have got in the cattle over here from Europe now. I think it transfers in the midges. hopefully the cold weather will kill it.

I am going to have to go and start on some of these deserts.
I have got to make some choux pastry and I had better do it and see how it turns out so that I have time to make some more if it is a disaster!!!!!
I hope to be on late for me tonight as we are going out in the evening. H will no doubt be v. merry after the Rugby - either he will have celebrated the win or more likely drowned his sorrows!!! Either way there will bw quite a lot of alcohol involved. I don't drink very often so I am not sure how I will be - I always get to drive but tonight we can walk to where we are going so I can drink if I want and now I am no longer on the AD's - well..........
