Re the OW: This is a woman the kids know. She was a friend of mine. They've hung out with her (and H) and her dog, and they love both. Again, H claims they're just friends (and I may be an idiot, but I think I believe him; he's a lot of things, but he's not a liar...lordy I hope I don't have to eat those words).
He's also said that he wouldn't do anything in front of the kids to confuse them, especially before we've talked to them.
It's definitely on my short list of things to ask the C about when we meet her. I'm less concerned about the kids hanging out with someone they know and like already than getting involved with a person H is in an R with. Does that make sense?
He's also thinking about heading back up to wine country with the kids; his folks are still there. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for that one.
Got a call today from someone who's "interested in the car." Sheesh. Would've appreciated a heads-up on that one (H's car, not mine). It's ironic that when I was pregnant with our first child and we needed a new car, H started looking at two-seater convertibles. And now that he's leaving, he'll have to sell it for a kid car. Sigh.
