agree on the phew about the dog getting adopted. might be H's way of trying to make himself happy?

on the having hope or not having it. I think it's okay to have some hope. Not the kind of hope that makes you dwell on it, or causes you to think that's the only way you'll survive. but a hope that maybe H will see the light and possibly change his mind about things, and I will still be open to reconciling. you know what I mean? hope is a good thing I think.

hope you have lots of fun on the camping thing, I've always wanted to do that! Will definitely have to make some kind of plans for it someday.
