First, I read J_M's post just like he explained it. Not sure what's wrong with the rest of you, but I thought it was clear and precise.

However, I'm starting to rethink this whole idea (yeah, I know Heim -- overthinking it). There's no doubt she will think this was calculated on my part, and think that I'm trying to make her jealous, piss her off, etc. She's going to think it is forced, and I'm starting to consider how harmful this will be. It would be one thing if we all happened to run into one another at a neutral point, but doing so at her work place seems wrong. It is the only store that is convenient on the way out of town... Argh! I just don't know what to do now. I've officially overthunk it!

Rule No. 1 - Focus on you!!! You're going with these girls. They suggested stopping at the store for snacks. Case closed. Do it. Once you start analyzing W's reaction, effect on sitch, etc. - the focus is off you and on W. The tension goes up. The pressure goes up. Just stop there. If she gets pissed - HER PROBLEM. Not yours. You're not rubbing her nose in it. You're living your life for crying out loud. Do it. Don't think about it anymore. Give us a report if it's noteworthy.
