Just wanted to let you know how sorry I am about your nephew. Geez, that is the stuff that really gets to me. When kids get sick, it breaks my heart. And boy, what a contrast to the behavior of the MLCers. It makes it so much less tolerable to deal with..
My uncle is struggling with cancer right now as I went to see him yesterday. And, XH is on the phone with me today saying he wants me to show him more "respect". I almost hung up on him.
Anyway, your kids have been through so much and you are all in my prayers. I have kids almost the same age (S12 and D10)and there isn't a moment that goes by when I don't worry about them, too.
You sound like you are doing a great job with them so just know how lucky they are to have you..
