Does anyone need a good laugh.

W has been out of town for several days, got home on Monday night, spent all of 5 minutes with DD before going to bed. I had to work on Wed, so I took DD to my parents house on Tue to sleep over (I stayed the night also as work is closer from their house than mine). Also, because I am going to Canberra tomorrow (Thu), DD is being looked after by my Parents and then my sister, and W will pick her up on Sat morning (as she works during the week).

W rang me today at work (Wed) and asked about how DD was, and how much she missed her. Then idle chit chat regarding our new fence etc etc, all very pleasant. Well, my soft spot got to me and I asked her if she would like me to pick her up this afternoon, and bring her home (so W can spend the evening and night with her) then take her back to my parents before heading off to Canberra tomorrow. She was excited and thanked me. Also I will have to leave a few hours earlier to make the round trip in the morning.

Well, W got home at 9pm tonight, DD waited up the whole time (with her Panda eyes), and W spent 5 minutes with her, then off to bed after a shower. Luckily DD wanted to sleep with W so hopefully they are "bonding" a little as I type this.

I often wonder what goes through their heads? How could she put OM before her own daughter?

It's got me buggered................

Oh Andy,

Sometimes the thought of our kids can be better than the reality if one is tired. Don't worry too much about it. Your DD will get her own back during the night. Didn't you say it was like sleeping with a windmill? LOL

Spouses are just WIERD sometimes and maybe W wanted to see a bit of you as well or see how much you would put yourself out for her?

andy, odd creatures our spouses are, huh?? I think she wanted to see a bit of both of you. DD got lots of bonding time while sleeping with Mommy, have no fears.
