Spouse just called and I could hear OWs kids in the background. What a treat. She wants D on Wed night and is really ticked that I had to think about it. I said "I thought this week was about taking a break" and she said "how can I know what it's like to have her twice a week if I only have her once?" Fine, take her. I give up. She won't be happy at anything less than 100% parenting so why not give her another night?
Kids should not have to go through this. And neither should we.
