Mojo, why not continue your experiment by changing your picture?
Actually, I was going to get some new pictures up before I started dating GP because I would say that by standard standards I am better looking now than in my older pictures since I have consistently been investing time/money in weight training, hair salons and an aesthetic dermatology center that takes monthly payments - lol. I figure if I want to have sex with men I have to be objective about objectification (sigh).
Anyway, my profile is still live on one site but it indicates that I am "seeing someone" and I took off my picture. The "seeing someone" message resulted in no reduction in interested inquiries. Taking my picture down did reduce the inquiries but I am still getting some e-mails. I would say these are half from the truly desperate and half from men who feel themselves to be a good match for me otherwise. For instance, one was from an artist who lived in Paris for many years until just recently and feels himself to be exiled in rural Michigan.
