I thought it was interesting how the study mirrored the known tendency that when people enter a social environment the women check out the other women and the men check out the women too. The thing that is starting to bug me a bit about internet dating is that it is so clear that the men I meet are already a bit too involved with my picture. One guy who I rejected because he was too culturally conservative for me sent me a an e-mail that implied "maybe you won't date me but you can't stop me from jacking off to your picture."
