Maybe your W is feeling like that because she is worried your oldest D will judge her, if she finds out the truth, for hurting her dad. Also she may not want the children coming across the email you sent to your wife.
I am convinced things will work out well - otherwise your wife would be acting all snipy about things and not nice at all - quit worring husband - you are on the home run. Just wait until her birthady.
