I'm not sure what to think about your W taking her ring off. Has she done that before? Are you sure she didn't set it somewhere else? Maybe you need to give it just a little while to see if it gets put back on. I'm not much of one to talk. I look EVERY DAY to see if my H is wearing his.

I'm very proud of you for getting out of the house to go do other things. And for acting "as if" with her around dinner. At least that's how it sounds like you acted. I think the kiss on the forehead, the "you are welcome" and your W getting into the bra convo. is great.

Pamar reminds me from time to time to take a step back (which you did), take a deep breath and relax.

I think you need to just wait a bit to see if the ring goes back on and to see what her attitude is like the next day or so.
