Well, I don't know if he is up for saint of the year award or what.
1. he is very supportive yet does not instigate 2. He remains friendly to XH despite the bulls**t which is important for me and for the kids to see 3. Simply, he knows what a freak XH is..He feels bad for me..He hugs me when I need it..but he gives me pep talks and does not let XH bring me down.
So, to answer your question, New Guy could not handle all this stuff any better. He does not get his nose in it but is here when XH gets the kids if I want him here. When XH gets kooky and starts really getting abusive, New Guy is pretty much by my side silently supporting me.
I am one lucky girl..I do know that..
New Guy tells me all the time how lucky HE is so we're even!!
