You sound good man. Just keep those expectations in place about her being surprised at the place. Heck...she may not even come in the house. Do it for you. k?

Well you nailed that one right on the head! Zero reaction from her, at least externally. I could see her eyes darting all around, but there was not a verbal response.......
You know what?? I dont care! This is my house now. This is the way I like to live, everything clean, neat and orderly. Sooner or later this place will get a "wow" out of a female, but I dont think it is going to be my wife.....
Anyhow, I gotta run to the store take care peoples!
Say does anyone know about anniversaries? Like which is silver and stuff? Isnt the 5 year aniversary paper? Yeah....I got some papers I wanna give her for our 5th!! lol
Opps I just looked it up, for the 5th its wood. Nope I dont think she is getting wood from me!!
Yeah with the ongoing redecorating/reorginization I got me plenty to keep busy well into next summer. Place is already alot different than when she left, but my vision of what it will become.......requires time, work and some money.
Also to get my azz out of the rut in the last 2 days I made 2 appointments. On Friday I go get my eyes checked which most likely will result in glasses. Perhaps seeing better will leave me less fatigued? Also next week I made a dental appointment, going to have a couple of teeth pulled. I finally have come to the conclusion that, some problems you can ignore and they will go away. Tooth decay is not one of those problems. Perhaps having these removed, will result in less daily pain for me. I hope. Les pain, less fatigue.......more energy.
Its about doing things that improve the quality of ones life.
Finally I have to quote this I read out of the latest Readers Digest..... "As science is now proving, feeling grateful can actually make us healthier, literally. Practicing gratitude, acknowledging the blessings in our lives and making it a point to recognize the good things can change us positively. We'll sleep better and exercise more. We'll feel more optimistic. We'll be more alert and active. And if we do this over a period of time, we'll realize that we're making progress toward our life goals."
In other the words, the choice is ours and ours alone about the quality of life that we CHOOSE to live. One can CHOOSE to wallow in misery, and feel sorry for all they have lost. Or one can CHOOSE to accept life on lifes terms, and carry on!!
