I really do want to shield DD from all the turmoil. If I can only give her good memories from this divorce, that would make me soooo happy. She is such a happy kid, and I include her in everything. We have discussed where I am going to live (on the beach), she is sooo excited about it, sort of in a hurry to speed up the divorce so she can live there
I also mentioned other things, which she is excited about. I think I have gotten her to a safe place emotionally where she has stopped worrying about mummy and daddy divorcing, and she will have the best of both worlds.
I am sorry to hear about your dad. But I think regardless of his condition now, every now and then he will remember the wonderful life he had with you.
