I would love to get another pet. It would help a lot...but I already have a dog that H is sort of holding hostage. I hope to get her back at some point. If will def get another.

I would think a lap cap would be good for you. You travel but cats can be left with large amounts of food, water and clean litter for several days without worry. Often the don't even notice you left...those self centered little rascals
