I assume you know at least 20 KU fans. In a group of 20 KU fans, I'm guessing you can probably find *one* who cares about football. Please find that one and tell him I predict a whuppin' of Jayhawk tail of epic, even mythical proportions next weekend.

That is all.

(P.S. If you don't know even one KU football fan, I do. His name is Jim Bush and I think he lives in OP. If you can't find anybody else, give Jim a call and tell him Eggman says "hey". And don't forget to mention the mythical proportions.)

Uh, Hairdog......

...please disregard that previous post. I just read Mark Janssen in the Manhattan Mercury stating that at season's end, an 11-1 record for KState isn't out of the question. That dumba$$ has obviously woof bombed us back to the Stone Age, so I now believe the Wildcats will be fortunate to stay within six touchdowns of your beloved 'hawks.

Just tell Jim I said "hey".

That is all.

Oh, burg. When will you ever learn? See "Sunflower Showdown" on Wikipedia. Having said that, however, there is only one reason I even care about KU football. It's the Marching Jayhawks. Did I mention my DS18 is one of them? Oh, and burg... turn your speakers way UP and click this

Oh sure. If it's on the internet, it MUST be true. That's clearly a bogus site. Just look at the football records...everybody knows college football didn't even exist until 1990.

I didn't want to start a new thread, but just wanted to let y'all know that, barring last-minute sabotage, I am headed on my Big Boy Trip to Tucson, tomorrow. Remember that? Here's a refresher:

Hdog: I'm going to Tucson.
Ms.Hdog: You are selfish.

My flight leaves tomorrow morning.

As I feel the wheels leaving the ground, I'll be thinking of you, Lil. ;\)

Hairy,
Good for you. Seeing how quiet you've been I was starting to get worried that the trip had been cancelled and you were afraid to tell us

Have a great time, and take lot's of $1's for something to do when you aren't at the concert or whatever it was you were going for. If you're going to be a "selfish brute" you might as well act the part

Have a great trip. We expect a full report on your return!

Being selfish might do wonders for you. Think of yourself as a representative/delegate of the NMMNG, SSM forum.

Have a good trip.

Hi all. Had a fantastic time in Tucson. The show was awesome, and occurred during the city's "Club Crawl", so we spent the time before the band started (11pm! yikes...that's 1am KC time) enjoying the different venues. Had lunch on Saturday with my ex-girlfriend from high school -- don't you worry, my wife knew all about it. Plus, she's a lesbian now, anyway, and no, I had NOTHING to do with that. It was great seeing her and the three of us (me, her, and the friend I was staying with) hung out for awhile and did the whole high school reminiscing thing.

Went to the Pima Air and Space Museum on Sunday and topped off the ol' testosterone tank. This was something that I likely would never do on a vacation with MsHdog, but really enjoyed it with my ol' buddy. We had a great time walking around the old planes on the tarmac and saw the SR-71 Blackbird and some other awesome craft in the hangars. We amused a couple of old war veterans with our immature banter, e.g.:
Vet: This jet was designed to avoid the problem presented by bomb bay doors slowing down the plane after the dropping of the nuclear payload. It ejected its payload out of the back, at the base of the tail.
Hdog: Oh...like a turd?
Vet: Uh, yes. Like a turd.
Buddy: Whoa...now there's some powerful sh!t.

Comedy gold. The vet was still chuckling as we ambled off.

MsHdog's reaction to the trip was unwaveringly positive. Our telephone conversations were upbeat and lively. Upon my return, she seemed genuinely glad to see me.

Somewhere, there is a lesson or two to be learned in this.
