Of course H doesn't have to know that.

I have fallen back a bit recently in the dressing department. Will have to get back up to dressing nice (may not be sexy, but well groomed instead of no make up).

LO, yes, H does not have to know that it is or is not just "friends". If he asks, you are just re-connecting with old and new friends and living your life. I called up a few ex-coworkers (male-dominated) for lunch, even dinner. H was curious. Good for my networking and good to hear their stories, too. It's actually funny now that I talk to those people, I can pick up where some are all happy, how some may be showing signs of MLC, etc.

OC,

No make-up!!!! What on earth are you thinking woman? And in California! Yikes!!!! My gosh, you need to go spend some time at the make up counter. Go to Macy's today... I'm sure you're a natural beauty, but every woman can benefit from at least a little extra color and mascara... definitely mascara...

LO,

Even better is to strongly INSIST "Oh, but we're just friends... really that's all it is..." and then kind of look off and smile.

I've thinking about cutting my hair off. What is more attractive to men - longer hair or short "sassy" hair?

I like my hair long and plan to keep it long until it all falls out. I think most men find longer hair more attractive, but short hair can be cute. What does you husband like? What do you like on yourself?

I'm curious to the guys responses also? I was going to get my long, blond hair cut and donate it to locks of love before the bomb; however, now I have decided to stick with the long hair...I think it makes me look younger. Olive, I think the "sassy" hair sounds like fun.

My H likes longer hair. He always said I kept it too short. Funny thing is my hair dresser talked me into growing it out and he is gone. He did tell me he liked it though.

But sometimes changing your look is really good. It makes you look like a different person. To both of you. I have often liked to go from one extreme to the other. Of course, it takes 3 years to grow long hair back. But a bob is a good short style that is not too hard to come back from.

So, true Sara.. It does take forever to grow it out. I seem to go from one extreme to the other as well. H has said in the past that he likes the short "do" but also has said he likes the long naturally curly thing (which I hate). I'm feeling kind of sassy lately. Maybe if I can find some sort of edgy style, I'll go for it. Short in the back... tapered to longer in front..hmmm...
