Hey, girl, how are you doing? All is well here. Having a HORRIBLE time w/ S3. He's being a total tyrant at school, not listening, etc. Doing the same at home, but we're all "working w/ him" trying to figure out what's going on. I think it's a combo of his age, anger (w/ dad being gone maybe?), and needing maybe more TLC b/c of those issues? I just don't know. I'm just trying different tactics and hoping it's just a "phase" and tht it will END SOON!!!

It is now 13.30. I am expecting my hairdresser any minute to arrive to alter the disaster I caused last week when I got fed up with my hair and decided to colour it!!!!!!
Hopefully will be back to proper colour in a couple of hours time!!! Or should I say color?

I went for a warm honey blonde - came out a bit reddish!!!!
I have always had highlights added to my hair as I am naturally blonde but a darkish blonde. My hairdresser had been ill and I was fed up as it had been a while since I had had highlights put in so I thought I would cheer myself up. Didn't realise that as there is red hair in my family my hairdresser always used a very light silvery blonde colour on me rather than a warm blonde as apparently a warm blonde makes the slight reddish tinge to my hair get stronger NOT blonder

My son had a funny phase at around 3yrs old. Seemed to have too much testosterone and be angry with the world the whole time!!!
It did pass but when it was happening it was pretty horrid. He had a complete arsenal of weapons - toy guns, bows and arrows, swords etc. You name it, he had it. This came as a shock after 2 girls. I had been one of those moms who said that I would never by my son toy weapons but after he started making them out of lego etc I gave up. I decided it was better to let him get it out of his system with toys rather than supressing it and him going for the real things when he got older.
I sort of used the same approach when he wanted nail varnish and headbands like his sisters when he was 2yrs old - better then than when he's 20!!!
Now he appears to be a fairly amiable, sporty, clever 12yr old. Only thing that really gets him cross is his 9yr old sister who manages to beat him up!!!Now she really is one tough cookie and a teen pregnancy in the making I fear!!!

been there done that.. but I highlighted mine myself with a kit and it came out horrible.. had to go to the salon to fix it. I have light brown hair but blond highlights, im thinking of going back to my regular color but I light the highlights.. im on the fence..

Happiness can be found, even in the darkest of times, if one only remembers to turn on the light.
I have come to the conclusion that the purpose of selling home hair color is so that we will mess it up and be forced into the salons to give them business. I will never touch that stuff again.
