Thanks for the Happy Birfdays, y'all! I think we will be going to the good ol' Keg for dinner (we do, btw, have a Swiss Chalet here). I love The Keg's steaks. Fortunately, H and I are still friendly, so I have no problem hanging out with him. Who knows where things will go? I sure don't, and I'm not going to worry about it anymore.

Happy Birthday Being Me!!!! It sounds like you are mentally in a very good place. I like that you don't want to let others define you. Congratulations on a healthy attitude. I think in addition you might want to force your H out for a wild and crazy time even if he is more like a room mate.
There is no arriving, ever. It is all a continual becoming.
Again ... thanks for all the well wishes for my 50th birthday. I am so appreciative!
My D20 was due to give birth to her baby yesterday (yes, on my birthday), but nothing has happened yet. I may leave for my previous city (where she resides) tomorrow, and hope the baby comes soon thereafter. Hopefully, be back next week some time.

Ooh how exciting a BIG birthday and becoming a grandma! You have so much going for you in your life I can only hope that sooner rather than later your h sees this and jumps on the band wagon before you roll off into the sunset!
