All is quiet around here as I plan my strategy. XH is away for a while so I have time to think.
Other than that, my job is great! I love the kids and they make me belly laugh. OMG! To teach freshman in college is a riot. They have so much on their mind, too, as they are in a major transition, too. Funny, I am way more compassionate about transition due to the D process, etc. I do think this is all going to be a valuable tool when I teach being that I have been there, done that..Many of the kids come from divorced homes, a few from abusive families as they write in their journals. All I can do is to try to listen and give them the tools to do well academically and slip some other life lessons in as well..
Off I go to dad's bday party..New guy going with D and we are having a bbq since it is 85 degrees here!!
