Funny, you are getting ready for work and I am getting ready for bed.

The time difference is the thing that annoys me, as I would love to interact more, but there are hardly any Aussies on this board (in my time zone).

Did you manage to get through the weekend okay, I remember you mentioned it was pretty ordinary.

I'm actually at work already. Nowadays, I spend a lot of time here.

The time difference is annoying but it is amazing that we are able to communicate half way around the world this way.

My weekend was so so. I just can't make myself 100% removed from XH...I guess that easier said than done after 11 years together. Our lives are still intertwined to an extent. XH's niece is trying to set me up with a guy, and I'm very excited about that. Hopefully, that will happen soon...it's time for me to get out there. XH and OW 1 year anniversary is coming up next week.

When do you go out of town?

a db lounge sounds good. with theme drinks...the WAS! has a kick to it, but doesn't stay with you long.

I'm leaving tomorrow, mid morning.

I will take DD out for breakfast in the morning (there's a really nice cafe that opens early in the morning, and they make the best scrambled eggs with fetta cheese, DD and I love it), then drop her off at school, then head off after that.

I know what you mean in regards to your XH, and it will take a long time to get over. But that is normal, you two have been together for so long, you can't just switch your emotions for him off overnight.

Time heals everything. Before you know it, you will think "What the heck was I thinking?".

It's good to have your niece do the "positive vetting" on any potential partners. Sort of like the middle woman. I hope he turns out to be amazing.

I think you should go out and treat yourself on your XH's anniversary with OW. You should celebrate your new amazing life.

I hope you enjoy your breakfast with your DD and then have a good couple of days away. Hopefully, you'll be able to take your mind off of this. What do you do for a living?
