Today......wow I got alot of things done around this house this week! Place is really starting to look nice, (my vision of)
Had to meet my wife at a gas station to pick up daughter this afternoon. I did give her some $$ for our daughters tuition, which she thanked me for. They were at a wedding this afternoon, so they were all dressed up.
One of my wifes chief complaints when she left was "you never tell me that I am beautiful" I managed to slip one in today. When I met them I said, "Well dont you both look very pretty......" It probably will not have much effect, but I wanted to slip it in, ya know!!
Also today......when she came and got all her stuff 2 weeks ago, I will have to admit that she did stick to our agreed upon list, cant say there were any real surpises. But she did take almost all of the pictures off of the walls. Well except for the 2 wedding pictures in the bedroom. I have been a yard sale junkie lately. I found some really nice pictures.....probably didnt spend more than $30 for all I got. I did change out the wedding pictures too, oh they are still there, but there are some wildlife (Terry Redlin type) I put in front of the wedding pictures......I cant look at them wedding pictures no more..........
It was kind of hard to change them, but it is like a healing wound, and to look at them pictures every day is like picking at the scab if that makes any sense???
Anyhow I am rambling all over the place here. I am doing pretty good though actually. I think I will deliver our daughter over to her place tommorow......I want to be further still on this place before she actually comes and see's all of the changes. I think it is somehow going to affect her.........
