Thanks, Nugget. I know you are right. I never filed anything when he left before so this is definately doing something different. I remember when he was gone for 7 months in 2002-2003 I had to get help from the food pantry and St Vincent DePaul to pay my utilities. At the time he had quit his job and left the state so he had no $$ to give me. At the time he was so depressed that he was hallucinating and having suicidal thoughts. I don't think he is quite that bad yet, since he is still able to work (working 70+ hrs/week) He really needs psych help, I hope he gets it. The lawyer I talked to wants $5000, non-refundable. I have 8 days left to respond to H's petition so I am gonna do alot of praying. He filed for D in 2001 because he thought I was gonna file but dismissed it so it's possible that he will change his mind.
