She's screaming her head off at the back door now.
She's going to get us in trouble.

D11, S14 and I had a good afternoon. We ran some errands and came back to the apartment so she could meet the kitten. Needless to say she's in love. The kitten curled up next to her on my bed and went to sleep. I took a picture of "my girls". That cat even suckered in S14 who prides himself on NOT getting sucked in. He said he was "sucked in by the cuteness". When I took D11 back to the house a little bit ago I asked her how things were going. She said good. She started talking about school. I listened. She hates one of her teachers, loves another one, was tardy twice last week and missed Friday. I didn't say a word, except that it's very important she be on time for school. It's going to start weighing on her. Perhaps I did too much for her all these years. But H doesn't do enough of the right stuff. That's all there is to that. We'll see what the deal is when interims come out. Until then, I'm not saying a word. God help me.

D11 is coming over Wednesday evening.
I'm picking her up after work and she's coming over for dinner.
My stipulation: She has to show me her homework list and then show me that it's done. If it's not done, I come back to the apartment by myself - nothing else, she's not in trouble and she's not getting a lecture. I'll just leave. So it is up to her. She will have 2.5 hours to get it done after school. I think that's plenty of time.

And so it goes.

Keep the kitten she was sent to you for a reason. It's a damn sign Amy!!! Keep her inside and she wont cry.....she needs you now. Your her Mamma.....you've fed her, held her, slept with her....she is bonded to you forever. Now all we need to do is name him/her.

(is the guilt working? )

She cries inside or out unless she is sleeping.
She lost her mother too soon, I think. I have never seen such a needy, clingy animal. It's cute but it's also sad.

We had to put her back out last night because she cries so loud.
I hate that but I can't get evicted either. My son has been so suckered in it ain't even funny. I called him when he got home from school yesterday to see if he'd brought her in and I didn't even have to ask, I could hear her. He was giving her lunch meat and I have a box of kitten chow in the friggin cabinet!

Anyway, we are trying to find her a home...

Uhm....well, it's like this Amy. I have two dogs...never really liked cats.

3 months ago this itty bitty black kitty with claws from hell was crying INSIDE the garage....how the hell she got in there, I dunno. My son....who is so quick to claim pets...like 1 dog and 2 turtles which are all now my responsiblitiy, claimed the kitty. Named her Annah.

Guess where she sleeps....on my chest. At 4:30 am she is staring at me with yellow glowing eyes, purring full throttle.....nudging my hand for some love and giving me those gently cat bites of affection. In my bed now are 2 dogs and one kitty.... when I get up to potty at night....all I hear is tinkle tinkle....no, that is not me...it's the kitty following me.... I have to take of that damn bell, but it was the only way to keep track of the little bugger.

Now she is getting BIG.....she eats dog food and ingnores the kitty chow. She is a dog....in cats clothing. I wouldn't trade her for nothing!!!

So uhm.....I have my own kitty from heaven thank you! LOL....kitty clumps to prove it.

GOOD LUCK! your feeling guiltyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy hehehehehe.

Amy, I need your help. I still read your last post daily sometimes multiple times a day. It helps keep me in the mindset he is TOXIC, however he is being a real jerk today. Our D papers are almost ready and he is starting to argue about things. I am hurting so bad but I can't cry...can you help?
