Well, since it appears that everybody in the US is asleep (well, we know that Sara is <wink-wink>), it appears that I am swimming alone this morning...
Phew.... I thought I was a gonner there!!!!!! It's 13.40 here.
I've got the formula 1 Grand Prix on in the background....
H has gone out to take our son for a soccer match - he captains the local under 13's team and my youngest daughter has gone with him so peace reigns for a short while, although I have to go and muck out my horse in a few mins!!!
How's your day shaping up then?

My son has a (American) football game today, in three hours (remember, I am a coach on the team). Then, it's a typical Sunday afternoon in the Autumn here - watching NFL football on TV. Not much else...
So, you like F1? I never was a fan of racing. Guess I never figured out how people pick a favorite driver...
Very quiet here as well... Oldest son stayed with a neighbor, and wife and #3 went to church. Just me and the football kid here right now. I need to get out of bed and catch a shower to wake up.... rescuing you didn't seem to do it! Also, remember that nobody brings me teat & toast... heck, I would settle for tea and toast...
Favourite driver!!!!! It's the smashes and crashes that are the highlights!!!!!!! Only joking. I live within a couple of miles of Silverstone so racing IS obligatory. My eldest D's BF's dad runs a formula 3 team which is based up at the track.
Lewis Hamilton is such an easy guy to want to cheer for - I guess he's the Tiger Woods of the Formula 1 industry.
Before we had the kids we used to watch all sorts of racing - I especially used to like the truck racing. I do like cars and am a bit of a speed adrenalin junky - probably why I like the horses as well - although with the horses it is the challenge of getting such a large creature with a mind of it's own to do what you want it to do and added into that mix is always the chance it will decide to do it's own thing. My H just can't understand that - my mare scares him to death - and she knows it and plays on it!!!!lol
Hopefully either toward the back end of this year or early next year we will be getting a TVR. My husband and I want to be able to take it down to the S of France and go and do some of the mountain climbs they do in Europe with the sports cars. We've just got to figure what to do with the kids when we go on these jaunts and where to put all the cars when we get them. my H has a people carrier, I have a subaru, ( for towing my horse trailer with), and we also need to get a small car for my eldest D to learn to drive in as both our cars have engines that are too big for her to learn to drive in and mine is an automatic and she needs to learn in a car with a stick.
It's all fun, fun, fun, but it's also all MONEY!!! Saffie
