I'm still confused about the whole swan thing. Also, I think it is quite likely the case that the monkey is my highest functioning animal. For instance, clearly, the swan can't write for crap. My sister's BF once said that the two of us were like 12 year old boys in women's bodies but he meant it as a compliment. One of the things I liked best about NG was that he mostly really liked and accepted my monkey. He gave off the vibe that he found my antics "cute", "amusing" or "sexy". I want to be with a man who will accept my monkey and that means that I want to be with a man who will "let me be happy".
For what it's worth, I think your monkey is your highest functioning animal also, although perhaps we should assign them percentages? At your highest-functioning, you're 45% in monkey mode, 15% lioness, 15% bunny and 25% swan? *g*
I think the lioness and the bunny need to balance each other out, because they're in the same spectrum, just on opposite ends. And maybe the monkey and the swan need to balance each other out too? Should it be 35% monkey and and 35% swan? *muses*
