CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy) often used for OCD and anxiety disorders, but extremely useful for other situations (I found it surprisingly effective for my son's tactile defensiveness!). I've read many books on it (my son has OCD) and have consulted with one of the leading researchers in the field.
