Hey J, I think it's a very strong sign that you are playing devils advocate with yourself. Besides, you know that I would if you didnt so you saved me a whole lot of typing by doing so.
Baby steps for him sweetie, you are still what matters most. Try not to lose sight of that even if he continues with the positive steps. It is not about him no matter what occurs, even if he is on his way back, you need to stay focused on the path that you have chosen for yourself.
We talked before about the picture you are painting for your life and how if he chooses to join you then he has to fit into the picture. You do not change your picture for him.
