Oh...I am a pepperoni man.

I know, IMP! I would say "Can you believe him?", but I actually can now!

I worked at the new house this weekend. I moved 3 truck loads of outdoor things on Saturday. H had kids until Sunday PM. So, I moved the yard roller (now that was heavy!), grill, table and chairs, bikes and the list goes on! The funny thing is when I moved the grill.

If you remember, the grill was a guilt gift from H. It is HUGE and unnecessary for my kids and I. BUT, the bigger the gift, the more sorry he is! BLEH!!!!

Anyway - I made a ramp w/some boards I had and was walking it off the porch. Well.....it got a little sideways and, well.....fell off the porch right onto its back. I've never heard so much clanging as the doors flew off and racks flew out. I stood and laughed....hysterically for about 3 minutes! It just cracked me up at the irony, I guess. I finally got myself together and hoisted it back upright and loaded it into the truck. I took it to the new house and put it in the back of the garage. Maybe next spring I'll try and reassemble or maybe I'll toss it!

So, yesterday my sister and her husband came to visit and we cleaned up the yard. I burned brush - my first time! I caught the gas can on fire. Hmmmmmmmmm....... I was trying to put a little gas on the wood and the fumes caught on fire. I threw the can on the ground and stood w/the house wetting down the grass around it! It melted into my yard. I swear it will be a miracle if I am still alive and the house is still standing when all is said and done.

H called to let me know he was bringing the kids and when I answered he said "Are you ok? You are out of breath." I said "Been working all afternoon" and he said "Yeah, that's a likely story". Brother!

So, today I am resting. I have about 35 essays to grade, so I'll watch a movie on TV and do that! My bones ache a little from moving and shoveling!

Hope all is well with everyone!

Thanks IMP!

Positive? Dropped the grill off the deck and melted my gas can?? That's what I love about you IMP...your wine glass is always half full!

When I re-read this post, I actually laughed out loud. I tried to picture myself and how funny it must have looked. Actually, it was a form of therapy for me! I'm running out of things to destroy.........

H is crazy. I know that now. Nothing I can do about it. I CAN protect my children and myself and build a new life. BUT...does anyone really think I should be using a hammer and nails??? Fire hasn't worked out so far ;\)

Correct.

Correct.

Good. Misunderstood, but good.

LOL.

Actually, I am very good. Expecting my brother to call shortly so we can compare fantasy football teams. And I just need the next week of work to zip by because we are training and my boss is a royal PIA when it comes to this. Gets too much into the minutia.

Well, the day has finally come! The Colts open their season tomorrow!!! I've missed Peyton so............

Talk to me about fantasy football. Sounds interesting.

I'm done teaching for the week. Ended on a crazy note w/a girl passing out in my classroom after she donated blood. I'm trained in CPR, but the real thing is different. I handled it well and was calm. Got her down with her feet up and sent someone to get help. Got back on my stool and continued the lesson when she was gone. Wanted to sneak in the teacher's lounge and chug a bottle of wine to calm my nerves!

This week has been filled with way too much excitement! What happened to peaceful???

I will be watching tomorrow. I have Reggie Bush for my fantasy team, so I need production from him. But I don't need a Saints win.

Fantasy football. You set up a team by drafting players based on expected performance. You get points for TDs, yards, length of FGs, opponents score, etc., etc., etc. This year Ladanian Tomlinson was pretty much the top player selected. manning, of course, is the top QB. Starting lineups generally have 1 QB, 2RBs, 2 WRs, 1 TE, 1 Defense, 1 K. I believe it started to give men a reason to tell wivesd and girlfriends that they have a real interest in the game. Hey, I have to watch the Houston-Oakland game, Owen Daniels is mt TE and I need 7 points from him to win my game.

And bam, it may not be peaceful, but it is exciting. And I think my bed is calling me.

Have a great night.
