I am glad to hear of your success and her having a break through!! You are one strong man. She is very lucky.
I just have one critism. It seems you are being very tough on her. Not holding her or caring when she was crying. This may send her bad signals right now that she may never overcome this with you. Or that she can't turn to you for support. I understand if you can never do this again. She hurt you and violated your trust. This could be the beginning of some great communication for the two of you.
