I'm so happy for you and your family. Your son sounds like a great kid. A little vacation sounds like a good idea. But I imagine staying home together will feel like a honeymoon, too. I agree with your wife. No point in beating around the bush. She didn't like your drinking. You stopped drinking. Why not get back together?
