Thought I would post a thought from last couple of days.
W was out w/ D yesterday and called "just to check in" w/ me cuz I was with the boys and she knew they had been a handful for last couple of days.
I was pretty short tempered last 2 days, i think because I have been a bit under the weather but no excuse.
She has asked me a few times "what is wrong" and I have had to change my face as I know my displeasure with whatver the situation has been is showing on my face. At least its not coming out of my mouth like in the past.
Last night, I had a bit of an internal meltdown. Poor CVA syndrome. I clean, fix things, buy things to make life easier / better for W and nothing, no thanks. OK so my need for Positive Affirmation not being met, so what is new? Anyway, ticked me off when after a weekend filled with getting some things working, specifically our Vonage phones (bigger deal than it sounds!), W says, "is this light switch not working either?"
Here are the keys to a lovely one bedromm apt that you will notice there are absolutely no problems that a handiman cannot take care of!!!
OK, got that off my chest, whew!
Other than that, pretty good dynamic going on.
