Just catching up after my couple of days of pure and excruciating Hell.

On the good side, the bunk bed for the girls fits perfectly with plenty of room left over. Also, lots of room for a 42 inch HDTV.

Glad to hear the new place is going to have room for the new stuff. The 42 inch TV will do wonders for your GAL, I can attest to that.

Well, time to start the picnic and see if the W decides to come out of her castle. Good analogy since we're taking the girls to the Maryland Renn Fest on Monday; hopefully not the end of an annual tradition for the four of us.

My W and I also had an annual tradition started 11 years ago when I surprised her going there one day. Man, that feels like ages ago. How things have changed. Think we won't be going this year. Kinda bums me out cuz I always enjoyed spending time there with her. Maybe I will go anyway, although some things will probably be tough to go see. Glad she agreed to go with you. It seems like she has been a bit more receptive to you lately. Keep it up.

Stew, Dude, Renn Fest is always fun. They're a little more family friendly than they used to be (they seemed to be a little more, oh, ribald, in the past), but still a lot of fun. If there's a hypnotist show, check it out, those are usually great fun.

Quick journal/strange/diffenent W behavior

Nothing major last night. Just while I was taking a shower, getting ready for dance class, she poked her head into the bathroom. Odd. One, because she hasn't done that in quite a while. Two, because she was asking how much the depo on the apt. was, which easily could've waited until I got out of the shower.

Anyway, more a note to self on this than anything.

Maybe in a month or three she'll hop into the shower with me. That'd be an absolute good.

Bar, body is smaller, but not toned yet. Getting there, though. Getting there. Sadly, and this, unfortunately, is absolutely true. I weigh just at 195 now. When I finished my senior season of football, I weighed about 150 -- still had a small potbelly. Overall dimensions were smaller, but the ratios were about the same as now

Fingers crossed that working out and eating smarter reverse 36 years of genetics -- all gut and butt.
