My H ruined my last 2 birthdays. I know we say we don't expect anything but a lot of the time we do.
Annie is so right. Find something that you would truly enjoy and do it for yourself. It won't make it go away but it will really help you to move your focus onto yourself. I had a hard, hard time learning to do that because I'm just not built that way, but it has finally taken and I love it. I deserve it!
