Yes, for the anniversary, I would stick with maybe a card and inexpensive gift if you have something in mind. I would hold off on mentioning dinner for a few days at least...who knows maybe he will bring it up first! I hear you on being nervous about the long weekend. I am in the exact same boat. I don't have any plans and I know if I stick around and hope that he invites me somewhere I am going to be disappointed, so I am dreading it too. If you have a chance to get away and visit your sister, I think that is a fantastic idea! Good luck!!
