24, Not much to say from the previous day. W asked if I was gonna do my weekend trip. I told her I wasnt planning to do anything but if 'WE' want to go to Chicago its doable. W didnt say yes or no but keep on asking if I was gonna go. This is good since I was gonna ask her on Wednesday but she asked me first so its just a matter of deciding and making the hotel reservations. I hope nothing transpires within the next 48 so we can decide to do this family trip.
If we decide to do this, this will be another tiny step into the bright future. It will show we can do things together and still be happy. But I have to wait 48 hrs to ensure all is ok.

MMH- That's it! I have been surprised by the reaction to some of my requests and deeply hurt sometimes. But now I'm GALing as much as poss, it hurts much less.
That's the dilemna I have. If I GAL, W gets upset. If I dont then W dont want me around. Kinda confusing isnt it.
But W then comes to me and ask if I can assist with her online courses since she knows I wont say no and I am there for here. So, I dont GAL but I do family time with D and ask W if she cares to come along.

MMH I think it is just a longer process than one expects in terms of just stopping things that make us too accessible and allow us to GAL. For me it is taking much longer than I thought.

Yeah, family time is very important but surely, you have a little time for yourself, for a little GALing. So she gets upset, that's her problem. You're upset but she carries on regardless.
As far as helping her with her course, I would not jump to it but tell her I have to check my schedule and choose a time that suits me. I'd make her wait til I'm ready too.
