Oh man, the things we have in common. H's family has noticed something too, and I know he is worried. He is at fault for this drifting (well, the A, I'll claim my part that lead up to it). I know he is worried I am going to start talking. And yes, they will support me and be disappointed in him. His parents will be devastated.
One email from each of his three sisters (and one from sil) just making sure everything's ok, haven't seen you much, etc. Part of me wants to spill it and get it out.
