Just wanted to let you know that I've taken the next step on actually committing to this trip.: I purchased my airline tickets. I had some choices to make.
1. Do I come back Sunday, or save $20 and come back Monday? 2. Do I come back Monday, and face the possibility of further wrath or accusations of selfishness, or do I come back Sunday?
After asking myself the unfamiliar question: What do YOU want?, and also seeing that Monday is Columbus Day, thus saving me the use of 8 more hours of leave, I decided to go for it and chose a Monday return flight. Also, the fact that the cheapest flights on Sunday left at 6:00 am (after going to a concert on Saturday night) supported Monday's flight.
