Well...there was dinner when he slid his chair around to sit right beside me....
He thanked me and the kids for helping over the weekend (S14 had helped Sat. and D11 actually got out there with us on Sunday!). I have a hard time with the "thanks" part myself but I try to just say "you're welcome". Last night I did tell him that he did not have to thank me, I love him and that house and both of us helping inside and out is just how it should be...anyway, he said he wasn't going to say anything because he felt like if he did, it wouldn't happen, but if the "numbers" come back right with the appraisal, "ALL of us are going to benefit". He leaned over to me and said "especially you"...
