It was hotter than the fires of hell outside but we got a lot of yard work done. We knocked off late in the afternoon and after S14, H and I all got showers, H grilled hamburgers while D11 and I worked in her bedroom.
Nothing specific to mention... It was definitely a work day. And "sexy" gave way to sweat, heat exhaustion and dirt rather early on.
We talked a bit after dinner but nothing about us, just casual stuff.
I'm going back over there early in the morning and it'll just be me and H as S14 is going to Busch Gardens and D11 will be sleeping and then working on some things inside the house.
As I was pulling weeds today I was thinking about cultivation and turning and sifting. That bible verse popped into my head "...but the enemy has desired to sift you as wheat but I (Jesus) have prayed for you, that your faith will not fail".
I have since read that the biblical definition for the word translated "desire" is "demand for a trial".
Good job, Amy! I think that's all you were supposed to do. And again tomorrow. He just has to get more and more comfortable with the idea of you being around, that you are going to do what you say, that he can believe in you. Anything more has got to come from him first, or the rabbit is going to run and hide. I do think the time could be sooner than later, but I have to remind myself that I only know him through you, and that over many miles of internet, so I could be reading it all wrong. And then there's the fact that I am obviously such a relationship expert myself!
Let's see... to start, I worked harder than I think I have ever worked in my life. I spread mulch, mowed grass, set out flower beds, washed the house, weeded, moved rocks, nailed landscape timbers together...
The yard looked GREAT when we were done.
I went to the apartment to take a shower and pick up S14 whose trip to Busch Gardens had gotten rained out. D11 rode over with me and then we all went back to the house where H and I cooked dinner.
