ND...you must be real close to where I am. I live about 25 miles NE of the track...give or take...
Actually last night my family and I went to Solona Beach (Just south of the track) to a "Beach Blanket Movie Night"...it is a once a year event there where families come out and watch an movie out doors...it is usually an indy film about surfing/surfers...we couldn't find a place to sit but did get take out and parked across the street...Drive-in style....and watched the movie from the car...
Alas, today we had plans of surfing/Boogy boarding but we are having lightning, thunder, and rain right now....not good beach weather...but hey...we only get rain about 7 days a year, lol...so it seems...
Good positives on things w/ your W...just make sure to keep it all simple...give her space...let her lead...
