Dang, Mattie, I'm in awe, you are such powerful woman that you control the stock market. Got any other tricks up your sleeve? LOL! It's amazing how they can blame us for everything. Your H is like mine, the fog is very thick!

Delia is definitely the one to be in awe of. Maybe she needs to pray for the OP in all of our situations! \:\/

Gee, another fun Friday night! MIL called and asked if I would take her out to dinner (she lives in a retirement home and is tired of the food). She continues to ask about my H so I actually called and suggested HE take her out. I always suggest she call him, but she said she wasn't going to bother him! He said he didn't want to take her out himself, but actually showed up at the restaurant after we had ordered. He was sweet and concerned! MIL was bragging about how nice he was all the way home (I was the one driving her home). She just thought it was so sweet that we could sit next to each other for dinner and have such a nice time. She even thought it was sweet that he kissed me good bye. She didn't even realize I was the one that
suggested he see his mom. Somehow HE comes across as the nice guy, though. Makes me frustrated!

Enough gripping. I am not supposed to let H affect my feelings!!!!

Mat, that is a nice gift you gave your MIL. Not only taking her out to dinner, but letting her think kindly of her son (even though he does not derserve it). You are a wonderful woman.

Thanks, NNP, for reframing the situation. Good approach and I need to keep thinking of the positives!
